1st December- Turkey Sage & Cranberry Biscuits

Ingredients:
250g turkey mince
50g dried cranberries
2tsp dried sage
200g flour of choice (plus extra for rolling)
2-3tsp yoghurt OR milk OR stock OR water
Prep time: 30 mins
Cook Time: 25mins
Makes: approx 40, depending on size
Instructions:
1* Pre-heat the oven to 180oC/ 160oC fan/ Gas Mark 4 and line a baking tray with some baking paper.
2* Heat a non-stick pan and add the turkey mince. Break up any large bits with a fork, stirring regularly as you cook. Cook until brown, then stir in the sage. Leave to cool

3* Mix the dried cranberries, and flour in a large bowl. Stir in the cooled Turkey and sage mix.
4* Add enough yoghurt or other liquid to bring the mixture together into a dough. Knead lightly on a floured surface
5* Roll out the dough to roughly 1cm thick. Use excess flour if needed for the work surface and rolling pin
6* Using a cutter of your choice (Bone or paw is an S&T favourite of course) Place your dough cut-outs onto the baking tray and bake until lightly browned and cooked through.
7* Cool your biccies on a wire rack before giving to eager pups or storing.
Your turkey treatos can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2-3 weeks
or can be frozen if required.
